About Gary
Gary’s passion for golf started at an early age when he began to caddie at Alpine Country Club in Demarest, NJ. This is where he began to find the satisfaction in helping other golfers improve. He later went on to graduate from the Golf Academy of America and accepted the position of Assistant Golf Professional at Montammy Golf Club in Alpine, NJ. While at Montammy, he began to teach lessons, in addition to junior golf clinics. With this experience, he then began to travel to many elementary and middle schools all over New Jersey to run after school golf camps throughout the school year. In addition, he has helped out with several local high school teams working with students, both individually and as a team.
Gary is a well-rounded golf professional and has a strong ability to play the game at a high level. Growing up in Washington Township, he attended Westwood High School where he went on to place 4th at the Dan Luciano County Tournament. After high school, Gary went on to play for Bergen Community College where his team won the regional tournament and placed 7th at the JUCO National Championship. After Bergen Community College, he attended the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach, SC, where he worked hard on improving his game, as well as gaining a better understanding for other aspects of the game. In 2012, Gary graduated from the Golf Academy of America with a degree in Golf Complex Management and a certification in club repair. He has now started his own company and is the Director of Instruction at Go Low Golf, teaching a majority of his lessons at Go Low Indoor Golf facility located in Paramus, New Jersey. He also does on-course playing lessons, at home lessons, and online lessons virtually to help students who aren’t located nearby. He looks forward to helping others improve and enjoy the wonderful game of golf!
